Babies (Pre-Walkers)

Play musically with your baby! Singing, dancing, movement, bouncing and rocking songs, wiggle and peek-a-boo games increase your baby's curiosity about music, develop listening skills, build a sense of beat and establish the foundation for singing and musical thought. Infant/parent or caregiver class.

Toddlers (18 months-3.5 years)

Singing, moving, dancing, listening, patterning, and playing simple instruments will delight toddlers on the move. Rhythm and tonal patterns, drumming, musical games, rhymes and verses develop musical abilities, stimulate cognition, and motor planning skills. Child and parent/caregiver attend together.

Family Music (Birth-4s)

Singing, moving, dancing, listening, patterning, and playing simple instruments will delight the whole family. Rhythm and tonal patterns, drumming, musical games, rhymes and verses develop musical abilities, stimulate cognition, and motor planning skills. Family music making fun with activities for every stage of development.

Nurture your child's developing creativity, imagination and independence in this delightful, seasonally-themed parent/child class. Singing, chants and rhymes, listening games, patterning, movement, dramatic play, instrument play, sensory exploration, and stories develop music and movement skills, self-expression, and attention.

Pre-Kindergarten (4.5-5.5 years) ( )

Music Makers At Home In The World is a delightful, nature-themed class where children learn to express themselves through music and movement, create and play simple ensembles, and are introduced to the orchestra and symbolic notation. Parents participate in the last 15 minutes of class.

This class meets for the academic year beginning in the Fall. Students may enroll at any time. during the course when space is available.

Kindergarten (5s & 6s)

Music Makers Around The World introduces children to music, languages, people, and cultures from around the world. Through songs, dances, stories, and instrument play, students explore the British Isles, North American Native Tribes, African American folk music, and Germany, the land of composers throughout the session.

Students develop a strong aural foundation, begin to read traditional music notation using solfege and rhythm patterns, create simple vocal and instrumental ensembles and experience a variety of genres of global music through singing, movement, dance, and instrument play. Parent/caregiver attends the last 15 minutes of class.

Music Makers Around The World is a two-semester class and begins in the Fall. New students may be added later in the session if space is available.

Summer '25: Piano Lessons Kids LOVE! (Private Lessons ages 4-teens)

Summer is a great time to try out something new at the piano! Whether your child is a new beginner curious about music and the piano or has been taking lessons for many years, summer is the perfect opportunity to explore, create, compose, and play new music at the piano. Kids from ages 4 through high school are invited to enroll this summer!

Session 2: July 7-August 16 (no lessons the week of July 14)
Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays are available.
Simply choose a minimum of 5 lessons anytime during the session. Once a week, two or three times a week, or everyday for a week!

Kids LOVE learning to play the piano in these fun lessons. Your child will be playing songs from the very first lessons and learning new songs every week. Students advance quickly with lots of time for skills development, instruction, game based learning, and hands-on fun.

Kids leave their weekly lesson already knowing how to play and practice their songs. Off bench time includes rhythm, melody, harmonization, improvisation and composition games and activities to develop aural skills, note-reading, and musicianship.

A piano/keyboard is required for home practice.

Fall Semester: August 18-December 19 | No lessons Thanksgiving week.
Spring Semester: January 12-May 16 | No lessons 1/19, 2/16, Spring break.

Fall '25: Piano Classes Kids Love! (Small Group Classes Ages 4+)

Kids LOVE learning to play the piano with other kids. Your child will be playing songs from the very first lessons and learning new songs every week. In our small group classes, students advance quickly with lots of time for skills development, instruction, game based learning, and hands-on fun. Music making with peers creates an energetic, encouraging learning community that builds confidence and skills.

Kids leave their weekly lesson already knowing how to play and practice their songs. Weekly games and activities include developmentally appropriate rhythm, melody, harmonization, improvisation and composition activities to develop aural skills, note-reading, and musicianship.

Fall: September 2-December 19
