Policies

Dress comfortably for movement. Barefeet are best during early childhood music and movement classes. Non-skid socks are just fine, too.

Participate joyfully. All children learn at different rates and in different ways.  Some children will be quiet in class, others will be active.  Some children will do everything perfectly outside of classtime, but not in class or vice versa. The goal is to make music joyfully together.

Please do not bring phones, toys, food, drinks, books, cell phones or other personal belongings to the class. These items are a distraction during your class or lesson. If you are online, create a distraction free zone at home for music/piano class. Keep the computer/iPad/tablet visible with audio, but out of young children during class time and be sure your school age child knows how to use the computer/tablet during class.

Students are expected to attend all classes except in the case of illness. A recording of class is available if you need to miss a class. If a teacher cancels a class, a make-up option will be given. No refunds are given for missed classes and no refunds are given once the session begins.

Illness. Please send a text to 630-632-3347 with your child's name and reason for absence if you need to miss a class. Do not come to on-location classes with ANY symptoms of illness or if you or any member of your household is waiting for COVID/FLU/RSV test results or has tested positive in the last 14 days or has any type of contagious illness.

Fees are due when you enroll your child. Full session payment is required when you register unless you have made other arrangements with us. If you'd like to set up payments, let us know. Registration and materials fees are due with the first payment. A late fee of $35.00 applies to late payments.

You're welcome to let us know at the end of the first class if you change your mind about a class. We'll refund your full session tuition fees. No other refunds will be given. When you enroll in a class, we are mutually committing to the entire session.

Photos taken during class may be used on social media or print marketing materials. If you wish for your child not to be included in studio photos, simply provide a written request via email before the session begins.
